Trump is in trouble and he knows it. As I have mentioned, Israel and the rest of us need to be concerned about Iran’s ability to make nukes. That is the only moral and legitimate concern that can justify military action on the part of the U.S. and Israel. Israel is using that as a cover for its continue expansion, stealing land in Gaza, the West Bank and now Lebanon. Iran just offered to suspend its 60% uranium activity for 5 years. If Iran will permit the U.S. unrestricted access to its nuclear facilities to be sure this promise is kept, Trump should make the DEAL. That will provide time for further negotiations and possible regime change from within Iran. The violence must end.
In return the U.S. will promise to cease all aid (military and non-military) to Israel and to work to have Israel stop its aggression. The U.S. will also promise to help with Iran’s development of nuclear power plants and lift most if not all of its sanctions.
