A few years ago, ROTC returned to Stanford, after having been told to leave decades ago when it refused to adhere to the Universities academic standards. One wonders if anything has actually changed from the time one was required to give blood to get a grade. Of course the Hoover Institute is also at the center of the University. Perhaps Stanford should live up to it’s motto: “Let the winds of freedom blow.” And let’s let those winds work on Peace and Justice as well.
My friend made the following video, making the case that if Stanford students are going to study how to make war, they should also be able to learn the whys of war and how peace can be crafted and maintained. Please watch.
